Having lived a lengthy life in Early Access, Blood West from developer hyperstrange, is finally being released in full retail mode, with the developer announcing overnight that December would be the release window for the unique stealth horror FPS.

Get ready to dust off your trusty six-shooter! During today’s Guerrilla Collective Showcase, Hyperstrange announced that Blood West – an enthralling wild west thriller set in a gritty and unforgiving world – is set to leave Early Access and launch into 1.0 in December 2023.

Havig played a bunch of this in Early Access, this is great news. It is certainly a budet low-fi title, but what it lacks in visual polish it more than makes up for in atmosphere and pacing. You need to move quietly through the game-world and seek the paths less traveled by the many monsters that litter this supernatural Wild Western playspace.
