Following the release of the PC version of Alan Wake, a new stand-alone DLC titled "American Nightmare" is now available on the Xbox Live Arcade.
In Alan Wake’s American Nightmare, Wake finds himself stuck in an altered reality filled with dangerous shadows as he pursues his evil double, Mr. Scratch towards the town of Night Springs. Wake must learn to control reality itself and unravel the secret to Scratch’s demise.

In addition to the expertly crafted single player campaign, the game also includes a heart pounding action arcade mode called “Fight till Dawn” where Wake must battle and survive a full night of enemy onslaughts while racking up a high score.
After playing the title for the past few days since it's release on PC, I'm hoping this latest DLC comes to the PC, as Alan Wake is such a spectacular title for anyone who is interested in the horror thriller action style gameplay.

Alan Wake's American Nightmare is now available on the Xbox Live Arcade for 1200 MS Points.

You can check out the trailer below (HD is over here) or find your way through to our game page which has all the latest information to help you in your escape from the nightmare. Remember to pack batteries!
