A set of four new screenshots, captured from the game's E3 "Canyon" demo have found their way online, courtesy of a Crytek senior lighting artist Pierre-Yves Donzallaz, who reportedly posted them on his personal blog portfolio, and has since removed them.

Although the quality of the images suggests a bit of Photoshop editing work, The Verge reports that the images are supposedly captures from the game running in real-time, showing off the game's impressive lighting and post-processing effects. Hit the thumbs below for a closer look.

Crysis 3 is due in Febrary 2013 for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Looks stunning, I decided to check out the artist (watermarked). He had this really cool PDF on his site:

CRYENGINE LIGHTING HISTORY
10 years of evolution
3 generation of engines
4 games and visual benchmarks

If it's anything like the first one, the scenery will be awesome but you won't notice it because 50 enemies just appeared out of nowhere and are shooting you from miles away with a shotgun. Man I hated the AI in the first crysis.

That's a little bit of an over reaction. AI was generally good and better compared to most games. It was just different because it's not like cod where AI are don't appear until you enter a zone or a part of the map. In Crysis they populate the map and if they see you, or hear you will investigate.
