A lengthy new gameplay preview for the highly anticipated Elden Ring has dropped, and it's massive open-world RPG meets Dark Souls action looks impressive. Which is to be expected, though it's still pretty incredible that FromSoftware is putting together an experience with such scope.

From the melee combat to the spells to the co-op and the little things like being able to put together your own map of notable points of interest -- it's a refreshing take on what we think of when it comes to open-world adventures.



Naturally there's boss battle stuff in here, which will make Souls-fans very happy to see. Stay tuned to AusGamers as we'll be going hands-on with Elden Ring very soon.

Elden Ring is out February 22, 2022 for PC, Xbox, and PlayStation platforms.
