Review by Dan @ 12th November, 2007
Guitar Hero 3 is a worthy addition to the franchise that offers much more than just new songs and a number iteration. The gameplay still offers that winning combination of both casual accessibility and hardcore challenges that made the series what it is and the addition of online play adds a whole new dimension...

The Legend of Zelda has been shrunk down to DS size for this, the true sequel to the memorable GameCube Zelda romp, The Wind Waker. Excellent visuals for Nintendo's little handheld coupled with unbelievable controls make this massive pint-sized adventure an absolute must-have for the DS...

Review by Steve Farrelly @ 31st October, 2007
The PS3 tries its hands at off-the-wall Japanese action/RPG stuff with Folklore, a game set in between the realms of the living and dead in Ireland. Some pretty visuals and great voice-acting work hard to save this game, but too many gameplay flaws leave us wanting a bit more...

If we had reviewed all these games separately, you'd be looking at high 8s and 9s out of 10. Rating on the merits of value - they don't come any better than this. If you only buy one disc this year, you'd do well to make it The Orange Box...

EA comes to the skating table with a revolutionary title aptly named skate. Yes the game is incredibly cutesy, and yes it looks a bit gimmicky, but for anyone who has followed this series since its humble beginnings on the N64, you’ll know that the Paper Mario games are among the most enjoyable Plumber-clad adventures ever crafted from Nintendo...

Ninja Theory brings an emotionally unique title to the PS3 in the form of Heavenly Sword. Unfortunately much of this emotion is lost on the game's obvious tainting from the God of War series. Still, familiarity aside, there is much to find in this game, and anyone who has never played a God of War title will definitely enjoy it...

Halo 3 is a fitting end to the series, it doesn’t break any new ground by any measure, but it is fun and is sure to break countless sales records due largely to Microsoft’s relentless marketing and PR campaign. There’s no denying this is a worthy purchase, just be aware it’s not the be all and end all of existence...
