Just finished the Duke Nukem Forever PC Demo which I got access to via Duke's First Access Club.

It definitely still has Duke charm, no doubt, but I felt it was a bit unpolished and the graphics were bizzare -- blurring at strange times and lots of jagged edges (and I know it's not my system). Sort of like a 5 year old game. Hopefully this is just a Demo thing though...

As for the Gameplay, nothing special, but wasn't expecting much. The gunplay etc. was mediocre and felt a bit unfinished also.

Overall I give it a 6/10 (+ for Duke style but - for Gameplay).

Don't get me wrong, I love Duke and I've already pre-ordered the Balls of Steel Edition and still glad I'm getting it for nostalgia's sake at least, but overall I was a bit underwhelmed with the demo... It just felt tacky.

What are your thoughts to those of you who played the demo?

It's older then 5years... it's on the UT2 engine, so try like what 8?

Pretty disappointing, but not altogether unexpected :(
