This is probably one of the weirdest, yet coolest intro videos ever to a game. Stripping back the Metalocalypse-styled animation of the Guitar Hero franchise, and replacing it with stylised CG stands a pretty solid point Activision aren't just making "Guitar hero with decks".

Though in saying that, we're still most definitely on the fence about this one, and are eagerly awaiting the opportunity to give it the full review spin (I've specifically been amping up my hip-hip and DJ track-listing of late).

lol. wtf is going on in that video :P seems liek you gotta ride some flying robot thing n fight some dudes over a record.. so you can bring it to the dj, who puts it on & it sounds just like what was playing before?

If you look at it more closely, you'll recognise it was a gigantic needle either tearing up or reading (technically, needles do both when they play vinyl) the gigantic vinyl that is the world (which can be seen when the truckie dude first comes on the scene and you see the truck from a distance, you'll notice ribs caught in the light around the bottom of the truck when the camera spins around).

Must admit it took me a second view till I worked it out but yeah, pretty cool, slightly random.
