With the latest GeForce Game Ready 431.36 WHQL drivers seeing performance increases in
Metro Exodus,
Strange Brigade, and
The Division 2 - with
NVIDIA citing an average improvement of 16% compared to the previous 430.86 driver. But the big reason for the update comes with the launch of the new
GeForce RTX 20-Series
SUPER graphics cards.
Which are out today in both Founders Edition models (check out ou reviews of
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 Super and the
RTX 2070 Super), alongside partner cards from ASUS, Gigabyte, MSI, and others.
In terms of the performance improvements NVIDIA's breakdown hints at a potential number that can fall within a rather large spectrum. But, with visually intensive titles like Metro Exodus and The Division - a 10% performance bump in either would definitely be welcome.
In Metro Exodus, performance increases by up to 31%, with overall average improvements across all tested resolutions and GPUs of 10.5%
In Strange Brigade, performance increases by up to 13.7%, with overall average improvements of 7.7%
In Tom Clancy’s The Division 2, performance increases by up to 11.3%, with overall average improvements of 3.6%
Finally, the latest driver also updates the list of G-SYNC Compatible displays - those being monitors with FreeSync that will work fine with G-SYNC enabled. These include the new LG 34GL750 ultrawide, the HP 25mx, and the HP Omen X 25f.
The latest Game Ready driver can be obtained manually
here, or via the GeForce Experience app.
