As part of the The Art of Diablo book that is set to release once BlizzCon wraps up this weekend. Where, and this is not entirely a secret at this point, but the entire world, heavens, and hells, are all expecting some big D action. Namely, Diablo 4. And so with some character art in tow we've got our first look at Lilith.

Daughter of Mephisto, Lord of Hatred, and known throughout Sanctuary as the Queen of the Succubi. Fun fact, her "union" with Inarius led to creation of the first nephalem.

Lilith first made an in-game appearance in Diablo II as part of a post-launch Pandemonium Event (where her character model was basically Andariel but with a black colour scheme). As per the book excerpt above Lilith is set to return to Sanctuary as a villain where her presence will be a dark day for her children. Hinting to a larger presence as part of the planned Diablo 4 story.

Also the concept art hints at a return to the darker more Gothic tone of the first two Diablo games.
