With Avatar 2 on track for a cinematic release in December 2021, which will be followed by Avatar 3, and Avatar 4, director James Cameron is definitely going all in on the giant blue beings in tune with nature. Versus humans. Now, you might recall that way back in early 2017 it was announced that Ubisoft Massive was working on an Avatar game using its Snowdrop engine (which powers The Division among others). Apparently Avatar: The Videogame is still very much in the works.

And will possibly tie-in with the film's 2021 release. To be completely honest we forgot that this was even a thing that was happening - but when the official Avatar Twitter account was asked if the game was still happening after posting a last-day-of-shooting photo, the answer was yes.

The official site for the game is still up but outside of job openings hasn't been updated with new info on the project in sometime. Which probably means that yeah, we'll see more when we see more Avatar 2.
