That headline is how we described The Invincible when it was announced last year. A new retro-inspired sci-fi from Polish studio Starward Industries -- which includes talent that worked on The Witcher 3, Dying Light, Dead Island, and Cyberpunk 2077. As a retro-futurist sci-fi thriller based on the works of author Stanisław Lem, this teaser gives us our first glimpse of the game's look and feel.

And if the words "retro-futurist sci-fi thriller" are enough to get you excited then yeah, this looks wonderful.

In the trailer we get to see the setting of planet Regis III, and a small part of a mission to rescue missing crew members. As per the announcement from last year The Invincible is set to feature a non-linear story, one that will be shaped by the decisions you make.

Stylish and cool, The Invincible is on track for a 2022 release on PC and consoles.

I need this in my life. Foundation has absolutely rekindled my love of good sci-fi, and there's almost nothing better than retro-futurist sci-fi <3
