Today Techland is teasing the first bit of story-based DLC for Dying Light 2 Stay Human. It's called Bloody Ties and as per the short clip we get to see a rather menacing helmet, which the developers state "offers a glimpse at the brutal dangers of Carnage Hall".

It's time to unveil Dying Light 2 Stay Human: Bloody Ties—the first DLC coming to the City.

What dangers await? How can you beat them? What will you get in return? One thing is certain… it will be brutal!

The full reveal is coming next week as part of the Gamescom Opening Night Live stream that's set to kick of on Wednesday August 24 at 4:00am AEST. Which is, yeah, bright and early.

It'll be interesting to see how this ties into the choice-driven campaign. As per our interview with Techland's Tymon Smektała from earlier this year, "The first DLC is more like a [standalone] story that you will be able to start no matter where you are in the main story. And then enjoy it as it is, without really thinking too much about the consequences of your choices in the base game.”
