After getting a surprise reveal back in 2017, it's safe to say that the wait for Bayonetta 3 has been a somewhat long time coming. Today comes word from Nintendo and developer Platinum Games that highly anticipated third-person action game is on track for an October 28 launch on Nintendo Switch.

Gravity defying stunts in vehicles, tracks that look inspired by Hot Wheels tracks with loops and vertical drops, Stuntfest - World Tour is headed to PC later this year and it looks gloriously over the top. The best part though, is that you can eject to fly and bounce around, in an 18-player multiplayer, well, stunt fest.

Following up on Kirby and the Forgotten Land, developer HAL Labatory is set to release the next pink puff ball adventure with Kirby’s Dream Buffet coming to Nintendo Switch (via the eShop) this winter. And that's winter for us in Australia, meaning sometime in the next month or so.

Relic's highly anticipated next installment in its landmark RTS series, Company of Heroes 3, has been given a release date. And it's on track for a November 17, 2022 release. And with that pre-orders are now live on Steam, and a special playable Mission Alpha that you can play now until July 19.

According to the announcement, Proletariat (Spellbreak, Asheron’s Call, Lord of the Rings Online) has been working with the World of Warcraft development team since May, and will see its reported 100-person team fully integrated into Blizzard over the coming months. With World of Warcraft: Dragonflight coming this year, it's assumed that this massive acquisition is no doubt helping the next major expansion make it out on time.

ReedPop (PAX, Star Wars Celebration, and New York Comic Con) is partnering with the ESA to bring E3 2023 to the Los Angeles Convention Center in the second week of June 2023. And with the event set to be for "publishers, developers, journalists, content creators, manufacturers, buyers, and licensors" it's sounding very much like the E3 of old.

As the headline suggests, Rockstar is now beginning to redirect more internal efforts towards its forthcoming Grand Theft Auto 6, an entry poised to destroy all other releases around it when it finally drops. And honestly, one we can't wait to see where the studio(s) takes us next, in particular with all the tech learnings from the still jaw-dropping Red Dead Redemption 2, as well as what new hardware opportunities will afford the team to deliver what we know will be a seminal, sprawling open-world experience.

In fact, a lot about this gameplay trailer looks very much like it was inspired primarily by the classic, and very violent, 1987 film.
